All Events 17 Jul 2017 Bristol Development Plans 2017 Monday, 17th July 2017 @ 1530hrs - 1900hrs The City Hall, Bristol, Bristol Development Plans 2017 | Event As a precursor to our West of England Economic Growth Conference in November we will be looking in general terms at the development plans of the region with a mix of private and public sector organisations. With the support of Bristol City Council, The Homes & Communities Agency, The Department for Communities & Local Government and private sector developers including Cubex Land so far but with others to follow together and with an update from EDF and Hinckley, we will look to show case the development opportunities within the West of England and our speakers will deliver a presentation on their activities in the area and their investment and development plans for the next couple of years. Following the local and general elections we also expect to touch on the political landscape in the context of the property scene. There is a feeling in Bristol that things are really starting to move forward at pace and from a development perspective there is real momentum with an abundance of inward investment, a strong local economy and above all real ambition and drive from the City leaders. There are some significant development schemes to talk about at this seminar and there will be some useful intel shared by the speakers and some procurement opportunities to consider.
