John Seager, CEO; Siglion

John Seager is the chief executive of Sunderland’s new £100million-plus regeneration programme.

John joined Siglion – a collaboration between Sunderland City Council, Carillion and development manager Igloo Regenertion – from UK Land Estates to drive forward its ambitious project to transform the area.

John is responsible for managing the development of five major sites including the former Vaux Breweries site, Seaburn and Chapel Garth. He will also oversee the asset management of Siglion’s investment portfolio to enhance its value and generate social, economic and environmental benefits for the city.

Phil Marsh, Director of Estates & Facilities; University of Sunderland

Director responsible for the University estate and technology infrastructure, facilities management, commercial operations and supporting university business development including external funding and employer engagement.

Ian Porter, Executive Director of Property; Gentoo Group

Responsible for all Group land and property assets, new homes building and investment strategy.
