On the 10th January, prominent business and public-sector leaders will come together at the London Development Plans conference – one of the City’s largest business events of the year within the property and construction industry.

The event, hosted by Built Environment Networking, will see some of the region’s biggest names in business lead a regional discussion including presentations of ongoing or proposed development plans in the area and plans for the region’s future. Speakers include:

  • Paul Duffree; Director of Property at The Royal Household Estates. He’s responsible for the Property team’s with a portfolio including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Royal Mews and more. The agenda will discuss regeneration and future development of the estate.

  • Colin Harvey, Head of Property Programmes Delivery at Jaguar Land Rover. He’ll give an overview in developments which are aligned to Jaguar Land Rover’s longer term strategy – meaning sustainable and effective development and solutions will be on the agenda. 

  • Emma Gilthorpe; Executive Expansion Director at Heathrow Airport. She’ll give an overview of development and expansion plans of the airport and how these may effect the surrounding areas.
  • Gordon Adams; Head of Planning at Battersea Power Station Development Company. The redevelopment of Battersea Power Station will be discussed along with the 8-phase master plan across 42 acres.

  • John Knevett; Executive Director at A2Dominion. Likely discussion and presentation points will include the thousands of homes they have in their development pipeline.

This event will provide an opportunity for those within the industry to gain insight on projects likely to take place within the region, whilst also giving a platform to debate and discuss the issues at the top of the economic and regional agenda.
