Briggs & Forrester Living recently secured the MEP services contract on Park Hill Phase 3, a student accommodation redevelopment located in Sheffield. The development, which was given Grade II listed status in the 1990’s, will be refurbished to create 356 bed student accommodation offering a range of studios, 2 bedroom apartments and 4 and 8 bed clusters.

The vibrant 7-storey block designed by architects Whittam Cox, possesses a unique design which has become a landmark on the Sheffield skyline. Students will benefit from the picturesque city views the development has to offer.

Working in collaboration with main contractor Kier, Living will deliver the MEP contract which includes heating and cooling, external lighting, fire alarm and switchgear.

The development will feature a commercial area that will provide residents with a ‘high street’ of local services including a newsagents, café and a new workspace for businesses.

The development is set to be ready for occupation for the 2020-2021 academic year and will achieve a BREEAM status of ‘Very Good’.
