It’ll also help drive economic growth across the UK by showcasing a range of alternative procurement and contracting options.”

Robbie Blackhurst, Framework Director at Procure Partnerships Framework, commented: “Through our experience and detailed analysis of procurement options across the UK, there are multiple factors that result in frameworks not working in the most efficient or beneficial ways for both clients and contractors. We have addressed these when structuring the Procure Partnerships Framework ensuring that the framework is flexible but robust, and that our clients can prove demonstrable value for money when procuring their projects in partnership with us. We look forward to discussing the challenges and lessons learnt in relation to effective framework delivery with our peers at the Construction Framework Conference”

Marie Claude-Hemming , Director of External Affairs at CECA, added: “Over the past few years, our members have indicated that while frameworks can be a useful tool to organise and deliver civil engineering projects, they do not always work effectively. There is a substantial programme of work coming forwards in the next few years. In order to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of the world-class infrastructure we so desperately need, it is vital that it is procured as efficiently and cost effectively as possible. As we look towards the next spending round , we are keen to start a discussion on how we can make frameworks work for everyone. We hope that in the long term our recommendations will become incorporated by our customers and wider Government.”

Simon Toplass, Chief Executive Officer at PAGABO, said: “As the National Framework Partner for Built Environment Networking we always find the events to be extremely worthwhile, but we expect the Construction Frameworks Conference to be a real highlight in the calendar and we can’t wait to attend and meet everyone.”

Sara Lawton, Director at Construction Impact Framework, (CIF) said: “CIF delivers social impact through ethical procurement. Our leadership team has 60yrs combined experience of delivering frontline public-sector services which means our understanding of poverty and its effects on communities is placed firmly at the heart of our operations. Together with our public-sector partners we are making communities safer, stronger, healthier and economically active. CIF operates like no other framework and we are proud to showcase how our public-sector partners are driving social value, delivering value for money and importantly protecting the public purse though ethical purchasing.”

Keith Griffiths, Managing Director of Built Environment Networking, said: “Our conferences have a history of bringing together the top business and civic leaders who have the power and influence to make a change. Frameworks are a major part of the construction sector with over 7,000 operational in the UK and with billions of pounds of work and consultancy feeds let through them each year. This conference will give businesses the opportunity to connect and collaborate with those in the sector, whilst discovering new ways to achieve best value, reduce costs, achieve best practice and ultimately win new clients.”
