DB Symettry Big Box Kettering A14

DB Symettry have been given the thumbs up for a major 136-acre scheme set to be transformed into a new logistics hub.

The firm, who were recently acquired by Tritax Big Box REIT to create the largest portfolio of prime ‘Big Box’ logistics assets across the UK, now have outline permission to deliver 2.31m sq ft of logistics floorspace as part of the scheme. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

The site, in Kettering, is strategically placed just off the A14 Trans-European freight route at Junction 9 – connecting it with national motorway and trunk road networks, perfect for potential occupiers and suppliers to the site.

(DB Symettry have many similar schemes across the UK – and they’ll be sharing details on these, their future plans and procurement information at our Leeds Event in September. Click here for details.)

Jonathan Wallis, Development Director at DB Symettry, said: “This is one of the few sites in the East Midlands that can accommodate a single unit in excess of 1m sq ft. Our focus is now on getting on site to start delivering buildings. Work has already started on a planning application for the associated infrastructure works and first phase of development and we will continue to engage with the local community as our proposals progress.” [/emaillocker]
