They’re a key Homes England partner and are looking to continue bringing former values-led development schemes and they’ll be discussing their vision and plans during the event. Rentplus – Steve Collins, Chief Executive Steve has 30+ years’ experience in public and private sector housing/development including the Homes & Communities Agency where he delivered over 42 government programmes worth over c.£900m pa. Packaged Living – Ed Ellerington, Founder & Chief Executive Officer Packaged Living is a bespoke Build to Rent developer and operator which works across the residential property lifecycle: acquiring land, gaining planning, building out and ultimately managing homes within the Private Rented Sector. They have a major presence in Milton Keynes with their JV partner, Affinius Capital and recently purchased a former multi-storey car park site in central MK where they are planning to deliver 250 BtR homes. Citra Living Limited – Craig Luttman, Development & Strategy Director The BtR market is rapidly expanding, with big names rushing to meet demand. Citra Living a subsidiary of the Lloyds Banking Group – created in 2021 is aiming to deliver 10,000 properties, worth £4 billion in yield by the end of 2025 and 50,000 by the end of 2030. Craig Luttman will be joining the session to discuss the ambition of the company, development plans and views on the future of residential development Round Hill Capital – Sinéad Joyce, Development Manager The organisation are a global market leader in the accommodation development sector – with a proven track record of successful identifying and acquiring high quality sites and real estate. They’ve placed their strategic eyes on the UK – highlighting its particular strength in residential, student housing and alternative forms of accommodation, and they’ll be sharing an insight into their future investment strategy and plans. We’ll therefore hear a global perspective and comparison from Round Hill Capital on the UK’s housing and BtR marketplace. Kier Property – Fareen Lalani, Senior Development Director Kier Property are joint venture partners in the Watford Riverwell masterplan which will be delivered over multiple phases up to 2035. Valued at upwards of £350m and regenerating 65 acres. The scheme will create a new, vibrant community that will provide new jobs and homes; local retail, leisure and play facilities, and lots of public green space for everyone to enjoy. Fareen joins the event to update delegates on its importance to overall economic growth in the East of England. Vistry Group – Andrew Taylor, Group Planning and Communities Director With last year’s acquisition of Countryside Properties, Vistry have increased their already huge pipeline of homes to be delivered across Garden Communities in the UK becoming one of the most prominent investors in these visions. Having become Visty’s Group Planning Director, Andrew will be well placed to discuss their plans which include 5,000 homes in Sherford near Plymouth, the 10,000-home Chelmsford Garden Community, 3,000 homes as part of the new Ashmere community in the Ebbsfleet Garden City masterplan, and around 1300 homes at Alphington, Exeter. Greater London Authority – Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development Tom Copley became Deputy Mayor for Housing and Residential Development in March 2020 and oversees the Mayor’s two affordable homes programmes, including ‘Building Council Homes for Londoners’ – the first-ever City Hall initiative dedicated to council homebuilding. The GLA has a target of overseeing 79,000 affordable home starts by 2026, tied to £4bn of grant funding and Tom will discuss how they are supporting developers and other stakeholders to meet this target.
