CEG Leeds Yorkshire Event Presentation

The regeneration of Leeds South Bank is set to see the City Centre ‘double in size’ – and today marks a major step forward in the project with the signing of a legal agreement. Having had planning permission granted by Leeds City Council in April developers CEG, who’re planning a major £350m scheme at the site, have confirmed a Section 106 agreement has officially been signed.

CEG, who’re set to speak at the Leeds Development Plans Conference alongside Vastint and Leeds City Council next month, have ambitious plans including the creation of Yorkshires tallest building with plans for the development including:

  • 40-storey residential building
  • 750 new homes
  • 2 large office developments
  • Ground floor retail and leisure totalling 280,000 sq ft
  • Mixed-use development of up to 1.1m sq ft of space
  • Public spaces and landscaping

David Hodgson, Head of Strategic Development for CEG and speaker at the Leeds Development Plans Conference, said: “Many years of hard work are being realised as we launch to market an exceptional opportunity for the highest quality office developments just minutes from Leeds City Station. This, along with the retail, leisure, hotel, residential and community uses, benefitting from innovative outdoor spaces and the waterfront, will bring a strategic development of a critical mass and international standard, putting South Bank Leeds on the map as a place to live, work and enjoy.”

Tickets are still available for the conference with over 200 delegates expected. Tickets can be purchased here.
