L&Q Group Development Modular Offsite MMC Modern Methods

One of the UK’s leading residential developers are continuing to drive forward with their ambitious growth plans, with news surfacing of their ongoing discussions to purchase Trafford Housing Trust (THT). L&Q Group, who’re set to purchase THT, are looking to build more than 100,000 new homes over the next 10 years to tackle the national housing crisis facing the UK – and therefore they’ve decided to expand their operations to the North West after other purchased recently across the East of England.

L&Q Group are set to speak at the Offsite Manufacturing & Exhibition Conference about their planned use of the modern methods of construction as they look to accelerate the delivery of housing across the UK.

The acquisition of Trafford Housing Trust, which is likely to go through in June of this year, will unlock a further £4bn of investment across the North West by combining the servies and teams of both housing associations – with plans to build 20,000 in the North West over the next 10 years.
