FORE Partnership Windmill Green Manchester

The most sustainable building in Manchester has officially reached practical completion this week.

FORE Partnership, a purpose-driven real estate investment firm who’re working heavily across Europe and the UK, have announced the completion of its Grade A office development Windmill Green in the centre of Manchester.

The building, which boasts to be ‘the most sustainable building in Manchester’ has a BREEAM Outstanding rating – with some of the features including: [emaillocker id=”71749″]

  • Solar PV panels
  • Cycle friendly infrastructure and cycle entrance
  • Scooter fleet for tenants
  • Expansive living wall to help neutralise carbon emissions
  • Rooftop terrace with bee hives, thousands of plants and energy-efficient lighting

The development is the first of its kind in Manchester to receive BREEAM Outstanding accreditation.

Basil Demeroutis, Managing Partner of FORE and speaker at our London Property Event in June, said: “We’re very pleased to reach this important milestone, three years after purchasing what was a derelict building. This legacy from another time has now been turned into the most relevant and engaging workspace in the city. The scheme’s offering is unlike anything else on the market currently in Manchester, and we have been extremely pleased with the attention it has attracted from high calibre occupiers – who share a common philosophy of being part of something bigger.”

Demeroutis added: “The team has worked hard to create a space which is ultra-sustainable and high-spec, but which also encourages creativity, collaboration, and a sense of community. We are excited to now be able to showcase this to the market.”
