Newport Pagnall Development Residential Housing Developer

A major new residential development in Milton Keynes is set to be officially launched this week, which could house more than 900 new homes. The 45 hectare site, once earmarked as a potential training ground for Milton Keynes Dons FC, will now officially go out to the public for consultation to showcase the proposed plans.

Milton Keynes Development Partnership, who’ll be speaking at next weeks Oxford Cambridge Corridor Development Conference, are behind the plans alongside Milton Keynes Council and they’re proposing the following development on the site:

  • 930 new homes
  • Schools
  • Health Centre
  • Supermarket
  • Local shops

The plans aim to create a new community which would be integrated into the surrounding area and the public are now being invited to give their views on the potential development.

The area has been highlighted for a number of years as a major strategic development site, and with the need to boost housing within the region especially with the proposed ARC corridor set to create thousands of jobs in the area, the plans have now started to progress.

Milton Keynes Development Partnership have said they’ll follow a landscape strategy which provides for retention of hedgerows, creation of green corridors and open spaces.

They’ll be joined by other major developers at the Oxford Cambridge Corridor Development Conference to talk through this and many other development sites across the region.
