Plans to continue the transformational redevelopments happening across Nottingham are set to be discussed next week.

Nottingham City Council – who’ll be speaking at our Nottinghamshire Development Plans Event this month – have already invested heavily into new developments within the city, including an ambitious development on the derelict land surrounding the train station and further schemes in the Creative Quarter amongst others. They’re now looking to continue the excitement such projects have created in the city – and the meeting will look to lay out the future development plans and opportunities to drive growth in the regional economy.

There are some exceptional development and regeneration opportunities set to be unlocked within Nottingham, most of which will be development and investment partners to be delivered. After the meeting next week they’ll be speaking at the Nottinghamshire Development Plans Event to share details of some of these potential sites and development zones – as they look to engage with those within the property and construction industry.

Cllr Jon Collins, Leader of Nottingham City Council, said: “Recent announcements from HMRC to relocate to a purpose built Grade A office block at Unity Square, the expansion of the City Ground by Nottingham Forest and housing and student developments across the area show an increasing confidence in Nottingham’s potential, all unlocked by our initial investment in key sites in the city centre. The council is keen to maintain the pace of high quality redevelopment in the city with a series of potential schemes we feel will appeal to private sector developers and ensure Nottingham can continue to grow and prosper. These plans aim to bring jobs, homes and more opportunities to local residents and we are optimistic this will appeal to a number of potential partners who can deliver good schemes for the city to build on our recent successes.”
