Scarborough Vidrio Campus Digital

Scarborough Group International have today submitted plans for an exciting new office development in the heart of Sheffield. The project, situated in the Sheffield Digital Campus quarter, will reach 8-storeys in height and deliver around 60,000sq ft of office space.

Scarborough Group, who’ll be speaking at our Leeds & Yorkshire Development Plans Conference next month, have submitted plans for ‘Vidrio’ which include:

  • Part 7-storey and part 8-storey building
  • 60,000 sq ft of office space
  • Commercial space across the ground floor

Situated close to Sheffield train station the scheme comes at an exciting time for the city – which is seeing a huge increase in inward investment due to the arrival of HS2, focus on city regeneration, and a drive from Universities to expand their offering along with many other reasons.

Paul Holcroft, Director of Asset Management at Scarborough Group (who’ll be represented by Mark Jackson at our event in Leeds this March), said: “This planning application further demonstrates our commitment to Sheffield and our confidence in the strong market conditions which we have seen over recent years. Vidrio is the final piece of the jigsaw for Sheffield’s Digital Campus and will deliver exceptional quality Grade A office accommodation in a striking landmark building.”
