The event will see some of the region’s leading civic and business leaders discuss the major topics within the region and present about their ongoing and future development and regeneration plans which are set to transform the region. Speakers include:

  • Sheffield City Council
  • Scarborough Group
  • New Era Developments
  • Capital & Centric
  • Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

The conference will provide an opportunity for those within the industry to gain insight on projects likely to take place within the region, whilst also giving a platform to debate and discuss the issues at the top of the economic and regional agenda.

Jerry Cheung, Managing Director of New Era Developments, said: “I’m excited to be speaking at the conference around our major project in Sheffield. I see New Era square providing a landmark place for the development of synergy in the region. A gateway for China to enter the UK marketplace. A regional hub to help local businesses enter the Chinese Market. A place to bring the community together, a place for international food, drink and music. I want it to be a space enjoyed by the whole of Sheffield City Region’s community where diversity is celebrated.

Keith Griffiths, Managing Director of Built Environment Networking, said: ‘’We’re delighted to be back in Sheffield to host this event at a time when the region is booming. The arrival of HS2 and the ambitious plans of the city’s universities are just two of the things driving growth within Sheffield and the South Yorkshire region, and this event will bring together investors, developers, land owners and more to really emphasis the scale of opportunity in the region, whilst providing a platform to facilitate collaborative working and the forging of new relationships.’’
