Ruairidh Jackson, Senior Projects Director; Argent – Airport CityRuairidh Jackson Resized

Started with Argent in March 2014, based in the Manchester office. Working with the team to bring more great business to the wonderful new One St Peter’s Square building in the centre of the city and with an equal focus on the Airport City Manchester project. Airport City has the potential to transform not just the airport area and its immediate hinterland, but act as a major engine of economic growth across the north west, much like the airport itself.


Phil Mayall, Development Director; Muse DevelopmentsPhil_Mayall Resized

Phil joined Muse Developments in 2006 to assist with the delivery of the company’s mixed use regeneration portfolio and was promoted to the role of Development Director in 2011. Previously Phil had worked as a Development Surveyor at Northern Trust.

Since joining Muse, he has delivered over 100,000 sq ft of offices, with a further 200,000sq ft due to commence in 2014. He also has 3 schemes currently under construction; a 97 residential unit development, a 143 bedroom hotel and a 615 space multi storey car park.

He has successfully led two CPOs, gained consent for the largest ever planning application submitted to Salford City Council and recently secured approval for c.500,000 sq ft of offices and 200 residential units for the City Place scheme in Chester.

Phil is a member of the Investment Property Forum and the British Council for Offices, where he was formerly Chair of the Northern Region Next Gen committee.


Colin Sinclair, Director of Property Marketing; BruntwoodColin Sinclair Resized

Colin joined family-owned property developers Bruntwood in June 2010 to work on the diversification of their portfolio in Manchester, with a focus on creating new space for the science & biomedical businesses along the Oxford Road Corridor. Projects he worked on included the £21m Citylabs development (the former Royal Eye Hospital), the £70m redevelopment of MBS for the University of Manchester and Bruntwood’s acquisition of a controlling interest in Manchester Science Parks. Colin started his career in the music business managing bands on Factory, A&M and Virgin America Records, as well as owning the Boardwalk nightclub and music venue (1986-99). He went on to produce numerous major events before becoming joint Marketing Director for Manchester Enterprises and MIDAS, Manchester’s Inward Investment agency, in 2004. Colin became Chief Executive of MIDAS in 2005 where he played the lead role in promoting the city region to international firms and innovative global businesses. During his tenure he attracted over 300 new businesses and over £300m of investment to Greater Manchester. As Director of Property Marketing Colin has been working to differentiate Bruntwood’s product in Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool, Leeds and Birmingham and to promote inspirational workspace to the creative, media and digital sector. He has also taken the lead in Liverpool, with a mission to encourage more firms to start up, grow and expand in the city. Colin is married with three sons and lives near Ormskirk. He is a keen triathlete and former amateur rugby union player.


Tim Heatley, Co-Founder; Capital & Centric

Tim is a Co Founder of Capital and Centric Plc along with Adam Higgins, a property development and investment company based in Manchester. They have developed £30m of really cool looking property in the past three years. Current projects include the iconic £18m Littlewoods Complex in Liverpool, the modernist £7m Tithebarn Project in Liverpool and the £100m MMU Campus in Manchester city centre. They are developing offices, apartments, leisure destinations and industrial warehouses. Everything they build is super energy efficient too.
