Ian Fox, Director; FW Properties Ian is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has over 26 years of property experience. He co-founded FW Properties with his partner Julian Wells in March 2011 and specialises in residential, commercial and mixed use developments. Ian has considerable experience in property investment and asset management and has previously been directly involved in the acquisition of over £500 million of property assets, the management of large commercial portfolios and the delivery of major development projects. FW Properties recent projects include the re-development of Westlegate Tower in Norwich, an executive housing development in Brooke and the conversion of a former office building into 18 quality apartments on the edge of Norwich City Centre. Mike Bodkin, Lead Planner; Strutt & Parker on behalf of Beeston Park Mike is a Partner with Strutt & Parker’s National Development and Planning Team and is the lead planner for the Beeston Park development on behalf of TOWN, U+I plc and a consortium of landowners. He has extensive planning and regeneration experience gained from over 25 years working in the local authority and private sectors in a variety of roles including development management, plan making, urban design, infrastructure funding and delivery and European projects. He has a particular expertise in planning for large-scale urban extensions. Chris Starkie, Managing Director; New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership Chris is responsible for the day to day running and development of the Local Enterprise Partnership; he was also the co-author of New Anglia’s successful submission to Government to run the LEP. Working closely with the New Anglia Board, Chris guides the strategic direction of the LEP, ensuring it retains its focus on creating jobs and removing the barriers to economic growth. Chris enables New Anglia businesses to have a voice at the highest possible level, by representing them at Westminster and liaising with key influencers on the topics that are important for our region. Prior to launching New Anglia, Chris spent three years as Chief Executive of Shaping Norfolk’s Future, the economic development partnership which was responsible for leading campaigns for the dualling of the A11 and improvements to the rail network.
