This event will look at the regeneration, development and investment opportunities within Cheshire East.

Strategically located in close proximity to the new HS2 link and also the thriving City Regions of both Greater Manchester and Liverpool, Cheshire is benefiting from a real focus on the area.

We will hear from the masterminds behind the development plans designed to drive inwards investment and economic growth into the region, as well as insight into their upcoming plans.

  • Tatton Group – as major landowners across Cheshire, whether it be their exciting plans to deliver a new community at Parkgate East in Knutsford to create Tatton Parkgate Village or their key strategic interests in the development of HS2, Tatton Group are one of the most important organisations in the North West. Annette joins the panel to talk about her organisation’s regeneration plans as well as the work she is doing on sustainability matters a senior voice on the Cheshire and Warrington LEP.
  • Cheshire and Warrington LEP – John is Growth Director at the LEP responsible for driving economic growth, investment and innovation across Cheshire and Warrington, including leading on the strategic development of the Cheshire Science Corridor and £200m Enterprise Zone. He works collaboratively with landowners, developers and local authority partners to identify, drive forward and promote opportunities for new development and investment into the sub-region and then support their development and delivery. John will join the session to discuss the LEP’s plans for driving economic growth, investment and innovation into Cheshire East.
  • Trafford Housing Trust – Trafford Housing Trust have plans to deliver 20,000 new homes in the next decade and see Cheshire as key county for growth. With several projects due to be launched in the coming six months, the first has been announced as 330 new homes and a new Lidl supermarket in South Preston as part of the wider 48-acre development at Penwortham Mills.  Graeme joins our panel to unveil key intel on their future pipeline in Cheshire and will also give a peek into wider schemes across the North West.
