Project Etopia Development Corby

The first four homes on a modular housing development site in Northamptonshire have been completed in just 34 days – with traditional construction homes usually taking months.

Project Etopia, who’re set to speak at the Offsite Manufacturing Development Conference in June, are behind the project which will see them deliver 47 homes across the Priors Hall Park site – and the housing developer is looking to continue the fast pace of delivery having purchased the site last year.

One complete the new modular village will include: [emaillocker id=”71749″]

  • 31 houses
  • 16 apartments
  • e-Smart technology

One area Project Etopia are focusing on is innovation and technology within their projects and their e-Smart technology enables new home owners to have full control of their power consumption, lighting, blinds, heating and much more, with each home being provided with a Geo-Store system which automatically stores heat energy while batteries store electricity – and to do this they’ve partnered with world-leading firms in technology including Daikin, Edge, Relight, Tri-V, Avantech Systems and Vaxis.

They’ll be looking to meet other potential partner firms when they attend the Offsite Manufacturing Development Conference >

“These homes have shot out of the ground. It’s an immensely proud moment because there are the first non-demonstration homes that we have built, and they were ahead of schedule and on budget. They’re a wonderful example of how modular building will provide luxury, desirable homes for everyone with cost, labour and time savings, keeping prices at an affordable level. The housing crisis is keeping many trapped in a cycle of rents, and only by rapidly accelerating housbuilding can policymakers ensure this changes,” said Joseph Daniels, Chief Executive Officer at Project Etopia and speaker at the Offsite Manufacturing Development Conference.

The Offsite Manufacturing Development Conference is set to hear from industry experts, modular providers and those who require modular builds including Universities, councils and airports.
