Bristol Development Plans Speakers


David Brown, Chief Executive; The Bristol Port CompanyDavid Brown

David spent 24 years serving in the British Army during which time he was involved in numerous operational deployments culminating in Commanding his Battalion in Afghanistan in 2007.  He was awarded the OBE in 2008.

He joined The Bristol Port Company in October 2008 as the Operations Director and has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer.

He is a Governor of Wells Cathedral School and a RIFLES Trustee. He lives on the Mendips and is married to Sophie, with three teenaged children.

Managing a division that operates across South Wales and the South West, with offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter and Colden Common, creating homes and building communities.

 


Richard Fagg, Deputy Managing Director; LinkcityRichard Fagg Resized

Richard began his 23-year career in the property department of a private healthcare company in 1993, supporting its commercial, wellness and latterly hospital projects. Between 2002 and 2008, he undertook a number of roles within commercial construction and investment, culminating in a role as Head of Strategic Initiatives.

In 2008 he joined Bouygues Development from almost its inception, and became Deputy Managing Director in 2015, leading the company’s rebrand to Linkcity in 2016.

Richard’s role involves pushing forward new strategic initiatives for Linkcity, building on existing core sectors while exploring new market opportunities.
