The Development of Business Parks

This event will bring together influential and well known names across the business parks industry discussing new and potential development projects, best practice when creating large employment hubs and the future for the sector.

In the wake of the Covid-19 crisis and with Brexit in the UK’s rear view mirror, a lot has been discussed about new ways to approach creating workspace, offices and commercial property. As part of this high level event, a range of developers talk about their Business Park development aspirations, detailing their thinking around design, capacity and fostering a collaborative environment which will ultimately contribute to economic growth.

  • Scarborough Group International – As experts in the development of business parks, Scarborough Group have a number of flagship development projects including the £500m transformation of Thorpe Park in Leeds and exciting 20 acre next phase of Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park. Adam joins the panel to share his insights on the key ingredients of creating such environments and to talk about their pipeline of development over the coming years.
  • North Kesteven Council – In a unique and extremely forward thinking move, North Kesteven Council are bringing forward a £56m business park development at Sleaford Moor. The plans cover a 37 acre site and work will hopefully begin in late Autumn 2021, delivered in phases until 2027. Richard joins the event to talk about local authority intervention into regeneration related projects and how it could be a good model to follow for other councils are a time that money is tight.
