John has worked for Verdion and the company’s predecessor Helios for over 7 years and has extensive experience sourcing, structuring and delivering large warehouse development projects across Europe. Prior to joining Verdion, John was a Senior Associate at King Sturge Corporate Finance where he was responsible for managing and investing institutional investment funds targeting Western and Central Europe. John is responsible for managing existing development projects, structuring transactions and sourcing new development and investment opportunities with a particular focus on the UK and northern Europe. This includes the company’s flagship £400m scheme iPort Doncaster where 6 million sq ft of warehouse space will be delivered making it one of the largest warehouse development projects in the UK. John graduated with a BSc from Exeter University and an MSc from Reading University; he is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Scott Cardwell, Assistant Director for Development; Doncaster Council Dan Needham, Development Director; Muse Developments Dan is a Chartered Surveyor with in excess of 20 years’ experience and is a Development Director with Muse where he has worked for 15 years. He has led the delivery of a number of Muse’s key regeneration schemes throughout the North of England including the Doncaster CCQ project where Muse has been the Council’s development partner since 2009. Dewi ab Iorwerth, Managing Director; Sargas Power Dewi has over 24 years of international experience in the Oil & Gas and Utility sectors holding positions in commercial negotiations, business development, and executive management of major utility and Oil & Gas corporations. A degree in Natural Gas Engineering followed by 16 years at British Gas and its parent company Centrica has given Dewi substantial experience in gas and electricity markets in UK and mainland Europe. For the past eight years Dewi has focused on the CCS sector with significant CCS project experience with BP’s CCS business unit Hydrogen Energy (a joint venture between BP Alternative Energy and Rio Tinto) and for CCS TLM Limited, where his experience was utilised in developing new and exciting CCS project opportunities in the power generating and industrial sectors in Europe, Middle East and Australia.
