Mike Taylor; Director of Regeneration, Nottingham RegenerationMike Taylor Resized

A Chartered Town Planner and development advisor with over 25 years experience in both the public and private sectors, Mike has worked for NRL since 2009. He specialises in the planning and delivery of major town centre mixed use regeneration schemes and large scale transportation projects.

Mike has actively facilitated some of the most important schemes in the Midlands including the likes of the Snow Hill development, the Mailbox and the CUBE and the transformation of New Street Station in Birmingham City Centre. He has lead several major CPOs to help facilitate land assembly and the realisation of development.


Nick Murphy; Chief Executive, Nottingham City HomesNick Murphy Resized

Nick Murphy joined Nottingham City Homes in 2011. As Chief Executive he is responsible for the management, maintenance and improvement of around 28,000 properties on behalf of the City Council.

The company is working alongside the Council to build new homes and regenerate areas of Nottingham, creating jobs and investment in local communities – and putting its tenants and leaseholders at the heart of everything it does.

Nick has an extensive background in local authority housing covering strategic, development and private sector housing services in addition to managing Council housing. He has experience of working in the senior civil service, developing national housing policy and legislation, and is a Board member of the Chartered Institute of Housing Influence Board.
