Martin Perry; Director of Retail Property Developments, Henderson GroupM

Martin joined Henderson in 2006 as a development manager from a mixed career in architecture, masterplanning and development. He has lectured and taught at the Joint Centre of Urban Design in Oxford and worked on a number of significant developments both in the UK and internationally, which range from town and city centre masterplans, covered shopping and leisure centres and strategic town planning.

His career started with working within historic environments at Paternoster Square in London and a small shopping centre in Cirencester.  Following a spell teaching at Oxford he worked in the Middle East where he developed two shopping centres and a town centre masterplan. He returned to the UK in 1994 to work on developments including the award winning Two Rivers in Staines, the Bridges, Sunderland and the retail led masterplan for the centre of Birmingham including Martineau Place and Bullring.

Since joining Henderson, Martin has specialised in retail led mixed use development and is responsible for the management of developments in the UK and across mainland Europe totalling over £2bn of investment including the £850m redevelopment of the St. James Quarter in Edinburgh, the redevelopment of Great Ancoats Retail Park in Manchester, a new retail led mixed use quarter for Bishops Stortford, the northern quarter in Kidderminster, the Silverhill development in Winchester and has been significantly involved in the expansion of Buchannan Galleries in Glasgow.”


Paul Curran; Managing Director, Quartermile Team Moorfield GroupPaul Curran

Paul is the Managing Director of Quartermile Management Services the developer behind Quartermile the award winning redevelopment of the former Edinburgh Royal Infirmary site. He is a Chartered Surveyor with over 20 years experience in both the public and private sector and has been involved in a number of high profile developments throughout the UK. Paul recently led the corporate acquisition of Quartermile with the backing of the London based private equity fund Moorfield.


Jestyn Davies; Managing Director, Murray EstatesJestyn Davies

Jestyn has over 25 years experience in the Property Industry. Formerly a Director with the Premier Property Group, ( PPG) part of the Murray International Holdings Group he helped develop its UK interests across 4 regional offices working in all property sectors. In 2008 he set up Murray Estates to capitalise on the groups various strategic landholdings. Murray Estates now has a range of commercial and residential led projects with over 1500 consented residential units and a further 5000 units in the planning system and over 1millon sqft of Commercial space. He has held a number of other board positions in other sectors as well as non executive positions.

Jestyn holds a BSc (Hons) from Heriot Watt University and an MBA from Edinburgh University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Building.

Jestyn is the immediate past Chairman of the Scottish Property Federation leaving this position in November 2013.
