Future Development Plans – Belfast & Northern Ireland

This is the next in our series of events focused on the plethora of inclusive development and regeneration projects currently planned for Belfast and Northern Ireland. With continued ramifications of Brexit and a post C19 recovery to plan, it is a crucial time for Northern Ireland’s future growth and prosperity.

We will gather public and private sector leadership to delve into their upcoming plans, explore what they hope to achieve and find out who they are looking to partner with.

Speakers for this event include:

  • Mid & East Antrim Borough Council – the region is Northern Ireland’s leading centre of excellence for advanced manufacturing and agri-food with recognised capabilities in tourism, financial and business services and digital technologies. The council have developed their ‘Amplify’ vision to create jobs, secure infrastructure investment and support the growth of businesses. Anne will discuss the council’s work to promote the development of employment space, improve connectivity in the borough and attract further advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Clanmil Housing Group – Clanmil Housing Group is one of Northern Ireland’s leading social housing providers, with over 5,000 units spread across the country. They are investing heavily and are seeking to deliver 2,000 new throughout Northern Ireland in the next three years. Recently announced schemes include 50 new homes in Carrickfergus and a £2.7m scheme in Derry city centre.
  • VU.CITY – Charlotte McCarthy is a Business Development Manager at VU.CITY. Charlotte is leading business development for VU.CITY in Dublin and Belfast.
