Our first Scottish event of 2019 will see us visit Glasgow where we’re expected to be joined by over 120 delegates for an evening of networking alongside exclusive insights from some of the region’s biggest names. There will be plenty of time to make new connections and contacts throughout the networking periods before we hear presentations from speakers, which will include an overview of the future development plans and vision for the region from both the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council and how Hub West Scotland is working alongside the public sector to create community and educational focused schemes in the country.

Conference Overview

Glasgow is central to the economic success and growth of Scotland – and we’re delighted to be back there in early 2019 to once again bring together over 120 delegates who’ll be central to driving regeneration and development in the country. Investors, developers, regional authorities and those working within all sectors of the built environment industry will gather to not only connect and network but also hear from some of those leading that regeneration and development with speakers sharing presentations including:

• Angeline Robertson; Partnerships Director at Hub West Scotland. The private sector development company is working in partnership with the public sector within Scotland with the aim of developing projects with support local communities by creating local employment and educational opportunities and she’ll be talking about their developments – with four schemes valued at over £50m currently ongoing and six other projects in the pipeline.
• Carol Connolly; Head of City Deal at Glasgow City Council. Carol will be providing an exclusive overview into the future plans for the city and potential development zones, along with details on the Council’s long-term vision for the local economy including improved infrastructure, growth in life sciences, business innovation, major regeneration sites and more.
• Murray Collins, Managing Director of Fusion Assets. Since last speaking at our event Fusion Assets have been very busy within Scotland and they’re gearing up to launch two new multi let industrial schemes in 2019 which they’ll be looking to fund and develop through joint ventures with a formal tender set for early 2019 – as they continue to scale up their activity.
• Kat Feldinger; Head of Investment at The Scottish Government. Kat works across international trade and investment and she’ll be giving an overview of developments which are close to being unlocked, opportunities she and her team are promoting and more.
