The hotel and hospitality industry has been one of the hardest hit by the effects of the pandemic. As the UK begins to emerge from lockdown, this webinar will focus on the recovery of the industry by analysing the upcoming projects designed to revitalise the sector’s fightback.

  • Interstate Hotels & Resorts – Nicholas Northam is Executive Vice President-International of Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the International Division of leading U.S.-based global hotel management company, Aimbridge Hospitality. Nicholas is responsible for over 150 hotels in the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe, Russia and CIS. Nicholas will join the session to discuss Interstate’s future plans in the UK and Ireland as well as giving thought leadership on the future of the leisure and hospitality sector post-covid.
  • Oakwood – Oakwood, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mapletree Investments, is a leading provider of world-class accommodations whether it is travel for business or leisure in the US, Europe and Asia with Maria heading up their development department in Europe. Maria will join the session to discuss Oakwood’s growth strategy and how they have been transitioning their business to focus more on serviced apartments and the ‘long stay’ sector which involves a lot of new build development projects and she will also discuss the hotel and hospitality sector’s post-pandemic fightback in the UK.
