Hotels Future Development Plans

The hotel and hospitality industry has been one of the hardest hit by the effects of the pandemic. As the UK begins to emerge from lockdown, this webinar will focus on the recovery of the industry by analysing the upcoming projects designed to revitalise the sector’s fightback.

We will hear from top level thought leaders and those responsible for driving investment into the sector, including how they’re planning to invest, develop and bring the sector back to full strength.

  • THAT Group – THAT Group are experts in developing hospitality and leisure developments having developed for Hampton by Hilton and Marks & Spencer amongst others. THAT Group’s current pipeline focuses on the south coast with schemes in Portsmouth, Torquay and Bournemouth as well as a scheme in Bristol. Peter will reveal more about THAT Group’s future hotel and leisure development plans and discuss the sector’s fightback from the pandemic.
  • Interstate Hotels & Resorts – Nicholas Northam is Executive Vice President-International of Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the International Division of leading U.S.-based global hotel management company, Aimbridge Hospitality. Nicholas is responsible for over 150 hotels in the UK, Ireland, Continental Europe, Russia and CIS. Nicholas will join the session to discuss Interstate’s future plans in the UK and Ireland as well as giving thought leadership on the future of the leisure and hospitality sector post-covid.
  • UKHospitality – As the Trade Association for hotels across the UK, UK Hospitality have a clearer vision than most about how the sector will move forwards following lockdown and the pandemic. Kate will share insight into their upcoming plans, as well as what the sector needs to do to bounce back, and how this can be achieved.
  • Accor – A French multinational hospitality company that owns, manages and franchises hotels, resorts and vacation properties. It is the largest hospitality company in Europe, and the sixth largest worldwide. Davina will join the session to discuss Accor’s future development plans in the UK and Ireland as well as giving thought leadership on the future of the leisure and hospitality sector post-covid.
