David Twohig, Chief Development Officer; Battersea Power Station Development CompanyDavid Twohig Resized

During his career David Twohig has worked on major urban regeneration projects in Europe, Russia and Asia. David started his career working for Treasury Holdings in Ireland before moving to Shanghai in 2005 where he was involved in the establishment of the largest western-managed development company in China. During his time as Head of Development he worked on a number of significant mixed-use projects including the 45 million sq.ft. eco-city at Dongtan.

In 2008 David was invited to work on the largest planning application ever secured in London at the iconic Battersea Power Station. Today David continues in his role as Chief Development Officer for the Battersea Power Station Development Company spearheading design on what is one of the highest profile urban regeneration projects anywhere in the world. David is also the author of Living in Wonderland, a book which addresses the shortcomings of contemporary development and the need to design places for people.

Anna leads the asset management team and drives the performance of the investment assets, estate management, property management, placemaking and regeneration initiatives at Argent’s King’s Cross development and is developing strategies for Argent’s new schemes.  Anna also leads development of the Coal Drops Yard, a unique retail scheme at the heart of King’s Cross.  She works closely with the marketing, public realm and retail leasing teams as well as the development team.  She has an in-depth knowledge of all asset classes, from development to management, and works at a strategic and operational level.

Before joining Argent eight years ago, Anna worked for the planning and development team at Arup leading a number of planning and regeneration projects for the public and private sector. Anna did a degree in economic history and has an MPhil in economic history and an MA in property valuation.

Anna believes passionately in creating successful places for all who live, work and visit them.


Bob Dawson, Head of Asset Management; The Crown EstateBob Dawson RESIZED!!!

Bob joined The Crown Estate in 1989 and is currently Head of Asset Management for Regent Street.

A chartered surveyor and member of BCSC, Bob is responsible for delivery of the Regent Street portfolio’s business plan objectives, reporting both to The Crown Estate and investment partner Norges Bank Investment Management. The partnership portfolio is valued at close to £5 billion.

Bob has previously represented The Crown Estate as a Director of the Heart of London Business Alliance and currently is a Business Director, and treasurer, to the Mayfair Neighbourhood Forurm, which is seeking to draft a new local plan for Mayfair.


Ben Giddens, Development Director; QuintainBen Giddens (2)

Ben joined Quintain in June 2006 from Development Securities plc (now UandI plc).  He is responsible for all Development Management activity at Wembley Park, with his most recent contribution relating to the strategy formulation and successful execution of the 4,000 home site wide masterplan application.  During his time at Quintain, Ben has also been the project lead for the North West Lands (1,300 homes), the South West Lands (850 homes) and City Park Gate (c.750,000 sq ft mixed use) masterplans.  He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
