Greater London Authority – Lisa Fairmaner, Head of the London Plan and Growth Strategies

With a myriad experience in planning and place shaping, Lisa lead on putting together the new London Plan which was published in March 2021. As the statutory spatial development strategy for Greater London, the plan will deliver thousands of new homes and billions worth of infrastructure investment. She will discuss how the plan will support inclusive development and regeneration in London and the impact it will have on those invested in creating a ‘city for all’.

Southwark Council – Colin Wilson, Head of Regeneration, Old Kent Road

With plans to deliver 20,000 new houses and a major extension to the Bakerloo tube line, Colin is overseeing regeneration initiatives totalling hundreds of millions of pounds. He joins the event to talk about how Southwark are getting ahead of the game on their “build back better” ambitions and to detail the key phases of his development pipeline

Westminster City Council – Deirdra Armsby, Director of Place Shaping & Town Planning

Westminster City council have unveiled a £150m regeneration plan for the recovery of the West End and Deidra joins the conference to talk about how the Oxford Street District framework will act as a spearhead for inclusive economic growth in the next couple of years.

Inland Homes – Mark Gilpin, Group Planning Director

Inland Homes are one of the largest house builders in the South East of England, with multiple upcoming and ongoing projects throughout London including the Hillingdon Gardens scheme which includes 514 new homes, a massive 1,625 unit project in Hounslow and other developments delivering over 1,000 other homes across the London Boroughs. Mark will share insight into these plans, as well as how they will help foster economic growth and add to the region.

Strawberry Star – Santhosh Gowda, Chairman

Strawberry Star have multiple ongoing developments as part of their ambitions to build 2,000 new homes by 2025. These developments are happening across London, with major schemes in Harlow, Wembley and Kenton as well as LU2ON phase two having a development value of over £500m. Santosh will share insight into these plans, as well as thoughts on driving inclusive economic growth across the capital.

Related Argent – Tom Goodall, Partner, Head of Residential

Related Argent are behind some of London’s most significant regeneration projects and are delivering thousands of homes across the capital. Their Brent Cross project will bring 6,700 new homes as part of a net-zero carbon neighbourhood in North West London. Their mixed use St Pancras Hospital scheme is at a much earlier stage and will see significant homes created alongside workspace, leisure and cultural facilities.

Built Environment Networking – Amanda Griffiths, Director

Amanda is one of the Co-Founder’s of Built Environment Networking – formed almost 10 years ago.

She’ll be hosting throughout the day, running the days proceedings and managing the interaction between our delegates and the speakers.

Quintain – Julian Tollast, Head of Masterplanning & Design

Quintain have been behind some of the capital’s biggest regeneration projects in recent years, delivering thousands of new homes at Wembley Park, Greenwich Peninsula and elsewhere. Julian will provide an update on their Wembley Park scheme as well as their wider ambitions for London, which will see the delivery of 8,000 new homes by 2028.

Regal London – Steve Harrington, Planning Director

As the demand for Build-to-Rent grows post-pandemic, Regal London is rapidly developing to change the urban landscape. With multiple developments assisting the current housing crisis, Regal London has invested £500 million in the ‘beds-and-sheds’ scheme in Orchard Wharf comprising mixed use, £125 million Mixed-use site in Camden & 456 BtR properties due to complete 2027. Steve joins us in this session to share his thoughts on the future development and sustainability of BtR .

Lendlease – Phil Gould, Project Director One Euston

Lendlease are behind the One Euston project which is HS2’s gateway to London. The plan is set to include 1,900 homes and 13,600 jobs as well as 10,000 sqm of shops and mixed use space. As project Director, Phil is best placed to share insight into the ongoing development plans and how they are preparing for HS2, as well as discussing thoughts around how to foster inclusive economic growth throughout the capital.
