The company’s strategy evolved to focus on established western markets, such as the UK, Germany and Austria, but also emerging markets, including Turkey and Russia.  Following the successful acquisition of HB Reavis’ first UK asset, ’33 Central’ in the City of London, in 2013, Tomáš relocated to London and became the Managing Director of HB Reavis’ growing UK operation. He is charged with introducing the company to the UK market, developing the overall operation and sourcing future projects for HB Reavis to invest in, enabling the company to become one of London’s key commercial real estate players.

With a strong background in both delivery and project funding, Paul brings extensive experience and gravitas to the RIO team and offers key skills across all areas of major strategic development analysis, feasibility, management and delivery.

Regeneration Investment Organisation UKTI

The Regeneration Investment Organisation RIO was set up with Ministerial approval in October 2013. Despite there being a strong supply of regeneration projects in the UK – over £100bn in capital value – over 40 projects are above £500m, over 20 projects in excess of £1bn, currently the offer is fragmented with delays and this is difficult for investors to navigate. RIO provides a great opportunity for a radical new approach in helping boost investment into the UK. It helps investors find a credible pipeline and range of UK development opportunities, and therefore get investment into good projects, enabling growth across the regions.
