London Property Club is one in a series of exclusive conferences focused on our capital’s built environment sector. As the industry evolves with the announcement of public land projects and PropTech innovations, the Built Environment Networking team are putting you in touch with the key decision makers and leaders driving the change.

Doors to the London Property Club events open at 08:00 for breakfast, continuing until 12:15, enabling the London delegates to learn and connect throughout the morning and be back at their desks for the afternoon. Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Major hotel development projects as Accor Group (Ibis, Novotel, Mecure), Travelodge and Whitbread (Premier Inn) reveal future development projects
  • Camden Council‘s strategic development vision, as they reveal land available for development and future projects

Accor Group (Ibis, Mercure, Novotel) – Prakash Krishnaumurthy, Development Director

Accor are the largest hospitality company in Europe, and sixth globally, and Prakash is an experienced member of the Accor team – joining in 2015 having worked previously for Hamilton Hotel Partners.

He will be sharing his unique insight into the marketplace whilst revealing exclusive intel into their strategic approach over the coming years, highlighting where new schemes are proposed.

Travelodge – Tony O’Brien, UK Development Manager

Travelodge are thriving across the UK – and the capital continues to be a key location for the brand.

Tony will be talking about their strategic and forthcoming developments – with numerous new projects planned across London.

Whitbread (Premier Inn) – Derek Griffin, Development Director (South)

With over 800 hotels Whitbread is the largest operator of hotels and restaurants in the UK – and they’re constantly looking to expand and grow.

Derek will be sharing intel on exactly which locations are on their priority list across the South, sharing details on their development approach, procurement and future project timeframes. They’re portfolio includes Premier Inn, Brewers Fayre, Beefeater and Hub by Premier Inn.

Almacantar – Kathrin Hersel, Property Director

The firm are known for transforming London borough’s through impress development and regeneration – most recently with the redevelopment of Centre Point in Camden, which has a hugely positive impact on the wider central London area, opening up new opportunities.

Specialising in central London projects the firm, only founded in 2010, have acquired over 1.5m sq ft of prime assets in the heart of London with other schemes including Marble Arch Place, One and Two Southbank Place and Lyons Place, and they have major ambitions for future growth and development which they’ll be sharing at our event.

W.RE / Camden Property Holdings – Sascha Lewin, Founder and Managing Director

W.RE are a ‘modern disruptor’ developer – and they’re soon to bring to market the redevelopment of Royal College Street to St Prancas Way, with new residential and commercial schemes.

They’ve been working with Camden Council to shape the image of the scheme but the greenlight is set to be given in 2020 for the project. They’ve also got numerous other projects in the pipeline in Camden and Greater London and the Council have requested for them to be invited onto our panel focused on the borough as they look to showcase the future development opportunities set to happen.

Sascha will deliver that presentation whilst answering audience questions throughout the session.

Our expert chair – Amanda Griffiths – will be chairing the session, whilst utilising the engaged audience to find out the key information the audience wants to know.
