South Coast Development Conference

Tuesday, 28th January 2020 0800hrs – 1600hrs

Hilton Metropole, Brighton, BN1 2FU

Driving Economic Growth on the South Coast – With Developments Totalling £20bn+ To Be Discussed

The inaugural South Coast Development Conference is set to burrow into the biggest challenges and major opportunities across the South Coast – with a big focus on driving investment, development and regeneration across the region.

It’s a genuinely exciting period for the South Coast – and we’ve seen that through numerous sold-out events in the likes of Southampton, Brighton and Bournemouth over the past few years. With so much interest in investing and developing across the region we’re hosting this event to bring the civic and business leaders together. New infrastructure is planned, major brownfield sites are being regenerated, new towns are being created and regeneration is driving growth and we’ll discover it all.

Projects to be discussed include:

  • Ikea’s desire to enter the regional housing market
  • £1bn Tipner village proposed by Portsmouth Council
  • Major hotel regeneration led by First Base
  • The £150m transformation of Poole town centre
  • Vivid Home’s plans to develop 17,000 new homes
  • New hotel schemes in THAT Group’s pipeline
  • Kingsbridge Estates plans for new acquisitions
  • 16 new development sites in Bournemouth
  • Tens of thousands of homes proposed by Vistry
  • £2bn+ of Network Rail upgrades
  • Future opportunities at ‘Black Rock’ in Brighton
  • Tellon Capital’s £120m retail transformation
  • Gatwick Airport’s future expansion ambitions
  • And much more…
