The South Coast Property Lunch is an exclusive, intimate networking event focused on the region’s built environment sector. As the industry evolves with the announcement of public land projects, housing and regeneration schemes and PropTech innovations, the Built Environment Networking team are putting you in touch with the key decision-makers and leaders driving the change.

The event will involve a VIP lunch interspersed with a panel discussion featuring investors, developers, landowners and other end users who will highlight their key projects and future ambitions

They will have an unprecedented opportunity for direct audience input and engagement, putting you in touch with potential future clients. This event will be around the theme “meeting the South Coast’s regeneration and investment challenges” and will showcase some of the most significant development projects and investment prospects and how they will unlock inclusive and equitable growth across all regional boroughs.

Southampton City Council – Nawaz Khan, Head of Economic Development and Regeneration

With over £1 billon in development currently in for planning across the city, Southampton is set to see transformative change over the coming years. Over 4 different sites approximately 3,400 new homes will be developed as well as leisure and commercial space and new road infrastructure. Nawaz has just joined the council as their new Head of Economic Development and Regeneration will update on the progress of these projects and the council’s plans to continue sustainable developing and regenerating across the city.

Lovell Partnerships – Leanne Smith, JV Director

Lovell Partnerships joined forces with West Sussex County Council to create a new property development initiative in a long-term Joint Venture. The County Council will be working with Lovell to develop surplus County Council owned land into new homes and commercial premises – set to bring much needed jobs and commercial opportunities to the region. Leanne was one of the driving forces behind the JV and will join to update on their plans and ambitions over the coming years with multiple sites set to come forward imminently.

BCP Future Places – Craig Beevers, Chief Operating Officer

BCP Future Places are set to announce 5 schemes in the coming months which will help transform Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole over the coming years. Future Places was set up by the council to create incredible places by delivering long term sustainable investments for the people of BCP – with projects totalling £2billion set to be delivered over the coming years. Craig will be on hand to reveal more about the schemes and Future Place’s ambitions.

Bognor Regis Regeneration – Dr Dave Cooper, Chair

With c7000 homes in the pipeline as well as enterprise and employment sites and major infrastructure upgrades to the surrounding A-roads, Bognor Regis is set to see a major transformation over the coming years. Bognor Regis Regeneration was set up by Arun District Council to drive investment and opportunity into the town and as Chair, Dave will be well placed to discuss future schemes and opportunities to deliver transformative developments, and their ambition of creating a top class coastal place to live, work and visit.

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council – Olga Blinova, Development Manager

Olga will be on hand to update on Basing View, the 65-acre business park situated in the heart of Basingstoke. The redevelopment programme is being brought forward through a close partnership between the council and its development partner, national urban regeneration specialists, Muse Developments. It includes plans to develop in excess of 700,000 square feet on various council-owned land parcels within Basing View amounting to over 15 acres. Additionally, the council are leading on the Manydown Garden Village project – a thriving new community of approximately 3,520 new homes, two new primary schools, land for a new secondary school plus a new 250 acre country park near Basingstoke – set to be delivered in a unique partnership between Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and Urban&Civic, supported by the Wellcome Trust.
