Lisa will update delegates on the Parkside East and West Development site which will feature around £500m of investment and bring forward key priorities around logistics development, green energy and advanced manufacturing sites. She will also touch on the importance of featuring the borough’s substantial heritage in any regeneration. BXB – As part of a JV with Promenade Estates, Gary and his team at BXB recently announced plans to build 1100 new homes on the largest brownfield site within the borough. Also included in their recently submitted planning application was 43,000ft of flexible commercial space and provision to build bars, restaurants and other leisure amenities. Network Space – The £54 million Glass Futures scheme is set to breathe a new lease of life into a derelict 14 acre site at the heart of St Helens. Catherine is leading the team on delivering the project which has recently submitted its planning application and she joins the event to talk about the game changing nature of what Network Space are proposing. Langtree – are one of the major organisations behind the successful Mersey Freeport bid and as stakeholders in the Parkside Regeneration Group are eying delivering world class schemes across the North West but particularly in St Helens. As part of this event, Malcolm will set out his organisation’s ambitions for the former colliery site within the borough and talk about other activity in the region.
