Countrywide, Pobl has recently exceeded its target of creating 3,000 much needed new homes in the five years to 2021 and has recently outlined its ambitions for the new decade that includes investing in a further 10,000 new homes by 2030 and Amanda will join the session to discuss their plans for the Swansea region. Urban Splash – Swansea Council appointed award-winning regeneration company Urban Splash as its preferred development partner for a number of key sites, including the Civic Centre, Swansea Central north and a plot of land running alongside the River Tawe in the St Thomas area of the city. The proposals will provide a new waterfront district which will include mixed use, residential, leisure and hospitality schemes developed, as well as separate schemes focusing on office/commercial and residential developments. David will reveal more details on this £750 million vision to transform the city and why they see Swansea as an ideal place to invest and develop in. DST Innovations – DST Innovations are behind the £1.7bn Blue Eden Project which will realise a state of the art Tidal Lagoon capable of generating 320 megawatts of renewable energy. Their site will also bring forward a 60,000 sq ft manufacturing plant, the worlds largest battery storage facility, a 72,000 sq metre floating solar array anchored in the Queens Dock, a 94,000 sq metre data centre, an oceanic and climate change research centre, homes for 5000 people and approximately 150 floating highly energy efficient eco homes anchored in the water.
