This webinar will delve into the potential development, regeneration and investment opportunities which are emerging in the Telford and Wrekin region.

With the transformational ‘Station Quarter’ scheme set to start taking shape in the coming years, there are exciting times ahead for the town – with thousands of homes to be built as well as a digital skills and enterprise hub to be run by Telford College and the University of Wolverhampton. Telford and Wrekin Council also recently secured £22.3 million from the Government’s towns fund and we will find out more about their plans during this session.

We will hear from the masterminds behind the development plans designed to drive inwards investment and economic growth into Telford and Wrekin, as well as insight into their upcoming plans.

  • Telford and Wrekin Council – Telford and Wrekin Council recently secured £22.3 million from the Government’s Towns Fund which is set to drive major investment and development into the town. Part of the fund is being used to drive their transformational ‘Station Quarter’ scheme which is set to bring hundreds needed homes into the town as well as a digital skills and enterprise hub to boost the skills of the area’s workforce. As part of the session, Katherine and James will give more intel on this scheme and the council’s future housing plans.
  • Trebor Developments – Trebor Developments have been an integral part of Telford and Wrekin’s development in recent years and have carried out several major schemes, including the ‘Ore 70’ scheme at Hortonwood West. Bob will discuss why they see Telford and Wrekin as a growth area, how they collaborate with the council and what they have planned for the region in the near future.
  • Lovell – Lovell’s latest plans for Telford include 329 properties to be built on a 37-acre brownfield site near Granville Country Park. The homes are being brought forward in partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council’s housing company Nuplace Ltd and social landlord Wrekin Housing Group. As well as these plans Lovell are developing another 412 homes in the area and Stuart will be on hand to discuss these schemes and their future plans for Telford and Wrekin.
