West of England Economic Growth Conference 2018

October 11 @ 0745hrs - 1645hrs

West of England Economic Growth Conference 2018 | Event

CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

The West of England Economic Growth Conference brings together public and private sector leaders to discuss and debate the key business themes and opportunities for growth. With an economy worth over £31 billion per year, a population of over 1 million people and over 43,000 businesses, the opportunity for growth is enormous.

The foundations have been put in place by the Mayor and Combined Authority, the LEP and Cities and with Government support in key areas such as Infrastructure and Housing starting to come forward the West of England is all set to start a massive growth cycle. The second West of England Economic Growth Conference will deliver a day of discussion on key topics and an opportunity to both hear from and speak to the region’s senior business and public-sector leaders to collaborate and bring economic growth to the West of England.

Building on last year’s event and the devolutionary advances that have been made over the last 12 months, and the calls for a ‘Western Powerhouse’, this conference will showcase the region’s potential and allow you to hear from those businesses that are operating successfully within the current economic climate.
