Outline plans were revealed last year for the University of Huddersfield’s new Health Innovation Campus on the site of the old sports centre. The £250m investment will see the 6.6-acre parcel of land sub-divided into seven key development plots, with the first phase comprising a “landmark building” of approximately 5,000sqm. Tim is leading on the development for the university and will be on hand to reveal more intel on the scheme as well as discussing the uni’s future estates expansion plans, and the wider impact of the university on the town and region in retaining talent and educating the future skilled workforce of West Yorkshire.
