Yorkshire 3 Peaks Charity Challenge | Event
NETWORKING WITH A DIFFERENCE, TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
In 2018 we teamed up with LandAid to raise money for the incredible work they’re doing across the UK. Together with companies from across the construction and property industry we raised over £10,000 for LandAid by conquering the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in a gruelling networking challenge.
This year we’re taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge again – but we’re wanting to make it bigger and better with the aim of making even more than last year for our charity partner LandAid. The challenge will include:
- 12 Hours
- 24.5 Miles
- 3 Summits (Whernside 736m, Ingleborough 723m, Pen-y-Ghent 694m)
The challenge will be in aid of LandAid. Every day of every year, thousands of young people in the UK find themselves homeless. Many are forced to sleep in overcrowded hostels, on the sofas of people they barely know, or worse still, on the streets. Yet homeless isn’t inevitable. It’s a problem that can be solved. With the right support services and secure accommodation, we can prevent young people from becoming homeless and protect those who are.
LandAid help provide safe, suitable and affordable accommodation which brings young people out of the cycle of homelessness and that’s why we’ve teamed up with LandAid – and we want to bring together other remarkable businesses and individuals from across the built environment industry to support their projects which provide life changing accommodation for young people.
