Massive plans to redevelop Liverpool Street station with designs by Herzog & de Meuron for a 20-storey block above part are expected to go before council leaders in early 2023.

Sellar, the developers of The Shard, is speaking to Network Rail about developing one million sq ft of mixed-use space at the site as well as regenerating one of the busiest stations in the country with new south end entrances.

Plans include creating a new two-level concourse to reduce overcrowding at the station.
