£750m contract up for grabs in Suffolk Posted on: March 16th, 2021 Firms have until April 9th to register their interest in a £750m joint venture partnership with Suffolk County Council (SCC). The 15-year, 50:50 agreement is due to start next March and the council is looking for a single private sector partner (PSP) to develop multiple sites across the county. SCC has an initial list of projects in the pipeline at North of Lowestoft Garden Village, West Mildenhall, Newmarket St Felix former middle school, West Row and Bramford. It also has identified a number of subsequent sites which may come forward in the future. The Council also envisages the prospective partner to provide cash to the venture as an equity contribution with its equity contribution being met through its land contributions. SCC also envisages the PSP providing pre-construction finance and other working capital by way of loans.
