Plans on how UKREiiF’s first three-day super conference and networking event will spread out across one of the most vibrant parts of central Leeds have been released by event organisers.

The UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum will take place next May (17-19) at the Royal Armouries and Leeds Dock area in the south east portion of the city centre. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

While the facilities offer up the opportunity to hold what would be considered a traditional conference event, the Royal Armouries affords a range of buildings for break-out events while the waterfront location will be utilised for informal and relaxed meeting environments including a ‘street food festival’ along the Boulevard.

Event co-ordinator Louise Withy said: “The facilities we have at the Armouries and Dock area offer up a really interesting space to a hold an event of this size and magnitude.

“While there are formal areas afforded to us such as the conference rooms and exhibition hall, there are really dynamic and interesting spaces located in and around the whole site area which are more informal but will provide a great platform for networking.

“Making all our attendees feel comfortable and productive with their time is what we will be going all out to achieve but, overall, it is a fantastic space for new and developing relationships to be forged. It will be the only UK-based event of this type and size in this sector and will be a great opportunity for those attending, in person or virtually, to help facilitate the country building back better post Covid.”

The main conference room will be located in the Royal Armouries with an extensive exhibition in New Dock Hall. It will host talks from dozens of the most influential names from the public and private sector across the three days.

The main building will also host the awards dinner in the conference room where approximately 400 guests will be wined and dined.

The break-out stages will be dotted around the Event Centre and also in the outdoor Pavilion Square, where regular events, focussing on the key themes of net zero, diversity and skills, will take place.
