Black Women in Real Estate (BWRE) have announced their involvement with The UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May, in Leeds.

BWRE is an organisation that connects and empowers black women within the real estate industry. With a network of 400 women, BWRE address the issue of under representation of diversity by creating spaces for Black Women to connect, empower one another and grow their reach and influence through a combined voice.

Nathan Spencer, Director at UKREiiF said: “ We’re so excited to welcome Black Women in Real Estate to UKREiiF. Their dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion by addressing under representation in the industry aligns perfectly with out mission to create a more equitable and sustainable built environment. Their vision to connect, empower and help growth of black women is truly great and we’re looking forward to giving Black Women in Real Estate the opportunity to build connections with potential future partners.”

Speaking of their involvement, Hanna Afolabi said “We are delighted to be attending UKREiiF to advance our mission of promoting diversity and inclusion within the sector. This collaboration will help to amplify the voices of Black women in real estate and facilitate opportunities for visibility and meaningful engagement.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
