The British Property Federation (BPF) have confirmed their involvement with the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May, in Leeds.

One of the country’s most influential and high-profile lobby groups, the British Property Federation, represents the property industry, including commercial and residential property owners, investors, developers, and their advisers, working to influence the legislation and raise the industry’s profile across all areas of business, politics, and the media. With aims to create the conditions in which the property industry can grow and thrive, for the benefit of their member and the whole economy.

The British Property Federation have a true focus on sustainability and net zero, having recently launched a Net Zero Pledge, where members of the British Property Federation must have, or be developing net zero targets and plans, and are also encouraged to join net zero carbon programmes or frameworks.

The partnership between the British Property Federation and UKREiiF will allow them to amplify their voice and message over the course of the 3-days in May, to a wide range of investors, developers, occupiers, and local authorities, whilst also giving their members benefits, such as discount to attend the event.

Speaking of the BPF’s involvement, Chief Executive Officer of the BPF, Melanie Leech, said: “We are delighted to be representing the UK property industry at this important industry event. Last year’s gathering was hugely successful at bringing us all together to discuss the issues that really matter to our members and I’m looking forward to it being an even bigger and better event this year.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re truly excited to be partnered with the British Property Federation for UKREiiF 2023!”

“Key themes of last year’s event surrounded topics such as net zero and sustainability, so the event is the perfect fit for BPF to project and showcase their message, whilst also allowing them ample time to build relationships with like-minded businesses.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023.
