At the inaugural UKREiiF event in Leeds between 17-19 May 2022, City of Wolverhampton Council will exhibit and showcase regional opportunities to hundreds of investors.

The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) has secured City of Wolverhampton Council as a partner at May’s inaugural conference in Leeds.

UKREiiF is set to bring together thousands of delegates comprising of investors, funders and developers who are all looking for new opportunities across the UK – and the Council will be amongst many other major cities and regions highlighting their region to open new investment discussions.

In addition to exhibiting Wolverhampton will also be showcased on-stage – where council and business leaders will delve into the unique investment opportunities in the city.

City of Wolverhampton Council Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for City Economy, Councillor Stephen Simkins, said: “Thanks to the public sector and private sector working in unison there is £4.4billion of investment on site or in the pipeline in the City of Wolverhampton. This investment is changing the face of our city and creating a wealth of attractive opportunities for developers and investors.

“Prime examples of our collaborative working are our award-winning £1billion business park, i54, the £17.5million National Brownfield Institute at the University of Wolverhampton’s Springfield Campus and the £16million construction of the i9 office complex – now home to the Department for Levelling Up, Homes and Communities’ second headquarters.

“We hope to make further important connections at UKREiiF that will benefit the city in the future.”
