Following on from the success of its inaugural event in 2022, Club Peloton has announced that Cycle to UKREiiF will be back for 2023.

The 100km cycle will depart from Harrogate on Tuesday 16th May and arrive later that day at the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF), which is set to take place between 16-18 May in Leeds.

UKREiiF connects people, places and businesses to accelerate the Levelling Up Agenda, whilst unlocking sustainable, inclusive and transformation investment across the UK. The 3-day event brings together the public sector – with every core UK city and region involved – alongside Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more.

Club Peloton is a charity and free membership club, working predominantly in the built environment sector, combining the benefits of networking, cycling and fundraising. Its events give industry professionals the opportunity to complete tough challenges together, building stronger and more meaningful working relationships. Club Peloton supports a number of charity projects, all of which work to transform the lives of young people: since 2006, it has made grants of more than £4.5million to support various initiatives.

The Ride

Setting off from their overnight Harrogate hotel on Tuesday 16th May, riders will be treated to a 100km route with some stunning scenery. The route takes in the Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale with plenty of rolling roads for group riding, some hills to take at their own pace and a welcome coffee break before heading through Wharfdale on the approach to Leeds and the finish at UKREiiF.

The entry fee is £250 +VAT and includes a 20% discount off a ticket to UKREiiF 2023.

Chris Clarke, Event Director for Cycle to UKREiiF, said, “Last year’s inaugural ride was a great test for a small but determined group of riders to pave the way for this year’s event. The route between Harrogate and Leeds is a cyclist’s paradise and the event itself is a great way to challenge yourself while networking along the way.”

Keith Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of UKREiiF, said: “We’re so excited to welcome the Club Peloton riders to UKREiiF! Last year’s inaugural event saw a successful ‘Cycle to UKREiiF’ with many delegates travelling to the event this way, and building those commercially rewarding connections on the way.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 16-18 May 2023. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth, and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
