In his new role as Built Environment Networking’s Consultant he will lead investor engagement for the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (www.UKREiiF.com), supporting UKREiiF’s ambition to promote the Build Back Better agenda and facilitate the post-COVID economic recovery.

Roberts most recently worked as Head of Commercial Property at Berkeley Group, where he ran a twelve strong team responsible for maximising investment value across a portfolio of 65 mixed-use regeneration schemes with a developable commercial footprint of 2.5 million sq. ft. across the office, retail and leisure sectors.

Keith Griffiths, Built Environment Networking’s Managing Director, said:

“I am thrilled to have brought someone of Ben’s calibre into the Built Environment Networking family. Ben’s long term experience in the property and investment world will prove a real boost to the great work we are already doing with the investment market to ensure UKREiiF best meets their needs.

“UKREiiF is a 24/7, 365 days a year project that provides a new way for the real estate, investment and infrastructure sectors to work together – driving deals and supporting growth as we emerge from COVID in the months ahead. Having Ben on board is a major step towards our aspirations for UKREiiF.”

UKREiiF is a year-round project led by Built Environment Networking, which will culminate in a three-day conference in Leeds on 17-19 May 2022. Around 3,000 attendees will be at the conference, with many more investor engagements with the forum expected ahead of next May.
