UKREiiF – the UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum – has today announced the appointment of Ummar Hanif who will work with the firm on a Consultancy basis.

Hanif, who currently works alongside HM Government advising on large capital real estate projects to promote opportunities and attract global investment to the UK, will work closely with domestic and international stakeholders to further enhance the ever-growing attendance list to UKREiiF.

Another key focus will be amplifying the visibility of the soon to be launched Real Estate Opportunities Portal (REO) – an innovative tool designed to activate some of the key commitments UKREiiF has laid out. REO is a dedicated platform that will connect the public sector, land owners and asset owners to potential investors, developers and housebuilders – enabling investment facilitation to take place seamlessly and in an inclusive way which allows smaller councils and SME organisations to showcase and view opportunities quickly.

Speaking of his appointment Ummar Hanif said: “I am pleased to be joining and supporting such a high achieving team at Built Environment Networking. I have long since been a fan of the work they do in facilitating economic growth across the UK. With the inaugural UKREiiF event taking place in May 2022 in Leeds, this really will be one of the most exciting years for the real estate sector within the UK.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the first annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 17-19 May 2022. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
