Greystar, the global leader in rental housing, has been announced at the latest exhibitor at UKREiiF – the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum, a major new three-day event taking place in May 2022 which connects local authorities, government, investors, developers and the wider industry.

Since entering the European market in 20213 Greystar has built up a significant high quality rental housing portfolio by investing in student accommodation and purpose built rental housing. They’re known for their ground-breaking and innovative approaches, such as the delivery of the world’s tallest modular towers in Croydon.

Their involvement in UKREiiF will be utilised to continue their growth across the country – as they seek to target world-class cities which lack institutional PBSA and BtR. UKREiiF will provide a platform for Greystar to connect with every major UK city region to discover new opportunities and build rewarding relationships.

Michela Hancock, Managing Director – Europe at Greystar said, “In its first year, it is clear that UKREiif has the potential to be one of the most important events in the industry’s calendar, bringing together a huge variety of stakeholders in the UK.  The event provides a great platform to facilitate partnerships and drive innovation among a cross-section of the industry. I’m personally really looking forward to engaging in the important discussions at the event, as we help ensure we meet the needs of our residents and all of those in local communities through the homes and services we provide.”

Built Environment Networking’s Director, Keith Griffiths, added: “Greystar has been at the forefront of the UK’s purpose built rental market – with their entry helping the sector explode. As they continue their growth across the UK and Europe, we’re delighted to be able to play a part in this by connecting them to new cities and regions – and we’re sure this partnership will be a fruitful one which leads to  new development activity across the UK.”

Led by property events company Built Environment Networking and supported by some of the biggest UK property and infrastructure companies, the first annual UKREiiF event will be held in Leeds on 17-19 May 2022. The forum will attract inward investment, generate economic growth and drive a more sustainable and inclusive culture within the property and construction industries.
