Apartments are now available to rent in one of the world’s greatest feats of engineering, with a light display marking the official launch of the tallest modular residential building on earth.

Ten Degrees, situated at 100a George Street, Croydon is formed of two adjoining 44 and 38-storey towers that overlook East Croydon station and offer panoramic views across London. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

Operated by Greystar, the global leader in rental housing, the development offers 546 spacious apartments ranging from one to three-bedrooms in size and is looked after by a 24/7 onsite management team. The team will also ensure residents have a smooth move-in process and are welcomed into the community.

Standing as tall as the London Eye, Ten Degrees aims to take renting in London to new heights by offering world-class service alongside a range of market-leading amenities and community initiatives.

All the homes are pet-friendly, with the option of being furnished or unfurnished, the latter coming with designer furniture packages and integrated SMEG appliances.

The homes were designed by award-winning architects HTA Design and manufactured off-site in a Bedfordshire factory by Tide Construction and sister company Vision Modular Systems. The ready-built modular pods were stacked on top of each other, not unlike giant Lego blocks, streamlining the construction process and reducing disruption to the surrounding area. Carbon usage is significantly lowered through offsite manufacturing, and the homes will produce up to 67% less energy than traditional builds.

Residents will have access to a wide range of on-site shared amenities, including a roof top gym, sky lounge, co-working space, rooftop and ground level terraces, a private dining room, a pet spa, a games lounge and a cinema room.

In addition, onsite events run by Greystar’s Community teams include pool tournaments, pizza nights in the residents’ lounge, homework clubs for young families and rooftop yoga.

Ten Degrees overlooks independent food and retail hub Boxpark right in the heart of London’s fastest up-and-coming borough. Residents can also enjoy close proximity to East Croydon train station, where trains can reach both central London and Gatwick airport in just 15 minutes.

As a welcome offer, all residents will receive their first month’s rent free of charge.

Todd Marler, Senior Director of Multifamily Operations – UK and Ireland, Greystar said: “Ten Degrees will set new benchmarks for renting in London by offering high quality housing that perfectly blends work and leisure while providing the utmost comfort and convenience.

“We know that people who rent our properties are not just looking for somewhere to live but also a lifestyle and community. With ten social spaces, including a gym, co-working space and pet spa, Ten Degrees will be home to a genuine community while also meeting the demand for places to work, live and play all under one roof.” [/emaillocker]
