More than 100 speakers will take part in UKREiiF’s three-day networking, exhibition and conferencing event in Leeds next year (May 17-19).

Some of the biggest names in the industry, from the public and private sectors, will get together to discuss vital topics and elements which feed into the UK’s need to Build Back Better following the Coronavirus Pandemic and Brexit.

The event, based at the Royal Armouries and Leeds Dock, will also include an awards dinner, breakout stages, investment opportunity tours and a host of wellbeing activities.

UKREiiF creator Keith Griffiths said: “The amount of key decision makers in attendance will make this forum incredibly powerful as the UK begins its economic recovery.

“We believe this event can be a major tool in helping facilitate economic growth in the industry. The opportunities for the public and private sector to work together remain considerable and can only be enhanced if the government delivers on its promise to support our industry and build back better.

“We also think that the way we have structured the event will make it easier for people to build relationships and meet people they otherwise wouldn’t. With the online option it will make it much more inclusive and encourage a lot more discussion than you normally get at events of a similar nature.”

A big part of the programme will be the Breakout Stages, which will allow the public and private sectors to deliver their own content through the days – highlighting specific development and investment opportunities to both UK and global firms. Investors and developers will join them on stage highlighting regional opportunities and collaboration.

The Awards Dinner will bring together those organisations who are playing an important role in the Build Back Better agenda across the UK. Awards will be presented in a number of categories, voted for by the UKREiiF Advisory Group, chaired by Lord Bob Kerslake.

More than 250 exhibitors will be available to meet – from local authorities, developers, investors, blue chip firms and many others – all keen to connect and engage in the hope of driving economic growth across the UK.

With major development activity happening a stone’s throw from the Leeds city centre location and many more in neighbouring cities such as Sheffield and Manchester, there is likely to be tour opportunities for attendees to view developments set to be unlocked over the coming years.
